Biography

Founder & Tutor

Hi! I’m Brandy Taylor, the heart behind Taylor Tutors. With over 16 years of experience teaching 1st grade in Dekalb and Gwinnett counties, I have a deep understanding of early childhood education and what young learners need to thrive.

I’m a Georgia-certified teacher with a master’s degree in education, specializing in reading and math, along with ESOL endorsements. Over the years, I’ve served as a grade level team lead and mentor to fellow educators—but my greatest joy has always been working directly with children and watching them grow in both skills and confidence.

At Taylor Tutors, I specialize in working with K-2 students, offering tailored instruction in reading and math that meets each child where they are. Whether your child needs extra support or a boost, I’m here to help them shine.

Outside of teaching, I’m a proud Georgia Peach, happily married, and a mom to four amazing kids. I love traveling, music, movies, and spending quality time with family and friends.
